Dango is one of popular snacks of Japan. You can easily find it in the streets of the country. However, you can also create your own tasty snacks at home, here's the recipe as reported by justonecookbook.com:
Ingredients:
Dango:
100 g rice flour
100 g of flour of glutinous rice
2 tsp sugar
2/3 cup (150 ml) warm water
24 skewers
Sauce:
5 tbsp sugar sweet (Customize to your liking)
1 tablespoon shoyu (soy sauce)
4 tbsp water
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1 tablespoon of water to dissolve the cornstarch
How to make:
Dango:
Mix the ingredients in a bowl of dango, add water slowly, stirring until the dough becomes attached and kalis.
Form small balls, cooked in a pan of water bubbles. If the bubbles that float to the surface already dango, lift and drain. Skewer 3rd circle on a stick.
For the sauce:
Combine soy sauce, sugar and water in a small saucepan, boil until boiling. Add the cornstarch dissolved in water, mix well, remove from heat.
You can also replace this with brown sugar sauce liquid to better suit the taste of Indonesia.
